Fund Raising Casino Nights

There are no two ways about it, fund raising is extremely important. No matter what the cause. It could be raising funds for a charity, a worthy cause, a new roof for your local cricket social club, whatever it is that is important to you is a worthwhile cause.
The most obvious way we can help is if you are thinking of having a casino as part of your fund raising then we reduce our price, which we will do happily. There are however a few tips we want to share, some are obvious, some not so but hopefully they will help you make the most from your event:

Free Promotion Of Your Event
Apart from word of mouth, posters, flyers, etc, a great way of promoting your event nowadays is through social media. An example would be to create an event on Facebook and send an invite to all of your facebook friends, ask everyone involved in the event to do the same and even ask people that buy tickets to do the same. Ask the suppliers at your event to do the same as well, they may well have people who want to come along just to see them! Before you know it you can have hundreds and hundreds of people aware of the event and it has cost you absolutely nothing apart from a little time! If you want to you could also promote the event through facebook paid ads, they really are relatively cheap and you can amongst other things geographically target the area you want people to see the ad from. If you want we are happy to help set this up with you (no cost obviously).
Ticket Prices
Obvious one this one but selling tickets at the right price is important, you need to maximise ticket revenue while at the same time giving value for money. There is no perfect price as you need to take into account your various supplier costs and the audience you are targeting but if you can find the sweet spot ticket price you are probably on to a winner.
We would advise that each ticket is also exchangeable for fun money for the casino on the night, that way it gets people playing.
Casino Prizes
Some people will play purely just for the fun of it, others need a bit of a push and some just want to win! Either way it is good to have a few prizes to play for. Normally we would suggest having 3 prizes for the 3 highest winners on the night. They don't need to be extravagant by any means, especially if there are other money raising attractions at the event as well, but enough to give it a fun competitive edge. Bottles of champagne, meal vouchers donated by local restaurants, tickets possibly donated by the local theatre, etc, etc. It all helps!
Re-Buys!
Normally people will have a set amount of chips at the start of the night, which we would give out in exchange for their ticket. If they happen to then lose their chips it is a good idea to let them re-buy back in. They could have been really enjoying themselves and/or have their eye on a certain prize, whatever the reason they want to carry on playing and so they should! We normally suggest the re-buy value be roughly half the original ticket cost and they get the same amount of chips as before. We find this works well.
Roulette Raffle
This is a great way to round off the night. A standard casino table has 37 numbers incluing the zero. During the evening guests buy a number, for say £10, and at the end of the night there is one last spin of the wheel with the winner receiving half the post collected and the other half going towards your cause, thats £185 raised on its own and an exciting way to finish the night.
Theses really are just a few of the things that can help. If you would like us to help or know more please feel free to get in touch either on 07909 222272 or drop us an email at hello@red-seven.co.uk. We are always happy to help if we can regardless of whether you are booking or us or not.
We hope your event goes amazingly well!
